THE STORY > Rich began his pro career in 1994 following a Silver..
..medal at the World Junior Elite Championships. He went on to win 9 British Pro Championship titles, races such as Ironman UK 70.3 & was
part of the British Sydney Olympic Games squad. At the end of 2006, following injury, Rich took time out from triathlon & launched the coaching business RichardAllenFitness. However this was not the end of his Pro racing career & in 2009, following the sad passing of a young girl call Ellis Harriet Clark, he was inspired to make a comeback. Rich realized how lucky he was to be able to do triathlons & having taken over 2 years off training & racing, he began a comeback journey to raise awareness & funding for the Ellis Harriet Clark Foundation & other cancer charities. Rich is now a long distance specialist & alongside racing still coaches, enjoys consultancy work, mentoring, writing & event speaking. Rich lives in North Carolina, US & Yorkshire, UK, with his Wife Tonya. Follow his training & racing live on twitter & check out his blog & sponsor links. Please contact Rich with any questions >
